Plasmonic Nanostructures for Photocatalytic Applications

摘要

Plasmonic nanostructures can effectively absorb light through localized surface plasmon resonance, allowing more effective usage of solar energy in photocatalysis. Starting from the basic overview of plasmonic photocatalysis, we will distinguish the photophysical and photochemical mechanisms and related catalytic effects derived from plasmon decay. We will then focus on the studies of the catalytic systems driven by plasmon-induced hot carriers.
